Just a three minutes' walk from the emblematic Plaza de la Merced and Picasso’s Birthplace Museum, you will be at the center of all the action while enjoying restful nights in the quiet street Ana Bernal, within the centric neighbourhood of Lagunillas where art, Southern lifestyle and history come together.
The Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba are less than 600 meters away, a mere 7-minute stroll from Alcazavilla Apartment, and “La Manquita”, our beloved Cathedral, is 900 meters away, just around the corner from Calle Larios, the popular main commercial street in the city. Málaga’s port as well as Muelle Uno, the newest part of the port loaded with shops, restaurants, and a local artisan open market, are less than 1.500 meters away. And just 200 meters from Muelle Uno you will find yourself at La Malagueta beach where you can relax, soak in the sun and wiggle your toes in the warm golden sand while enjoying a refreshment and delicious tapas from any of the many “Chiringuito” restaurants that line up the beautiful Paseo Marítimo Pablo Ruiz Picasso. And if you like to jog or hike the forest of Gibralfaro’s Castle are less than 10 minutes away from the apartment.

Alcazavilla Apartment includes a Master Bedroom with a king size bed 180x200 cm covered in fluffy comfort and one room with two single beds 90x180 cm that can be joined together or keep separate. The modern bright bathroom has a nice sized shower with all the essentials, including body lotion and hair dryer.
After a long day having fun experiencing Málaga to the fullest if you choose to stay in for the evening and relax Alcazavilla Apartment has plenty to help you there. A fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, a 4 burner Vitro ceramic cooktop and oven plus many kitchen gadgets to help you prepare a great meal (big local market just around the corner next to Plaza de la Merced). Want to play games or watch a movie? You will find a selection of family games to choose from inside the cabinet in the hallway, and the main TV in the living room is hooked to a ROKU digital TV interface that will allow you to connect to your own account with Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Disney and more.
About the building, the neighbours are lovely and friendly people. The hall and staircase are common areas to all apartments and there is no lift in this historic building so please note that Alcazavilla apartment is located on the third floor so you will need to walk up some stairs since.
