This unique apartment combines the traditional and modern, right in the heart of Benahavís old town. Originally an artist workshop and then a landmark restaurant “El Fogon”, this loft-style duplex property is a landmark building and the ideal place to base yourself for your vacation.
Inside the apartment, there is a large open plan and light filled sitting room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen space with seating for eight, Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning and all the conveniences you need for entertaining and eating in. The couch also doubles up as a single bed for an extra guest. Upstairs, there are two very large double bedrooms sharing a designer bathroom and shower facilities. The bedrooms are cool comfort during summer nights and uniquely positioned to radiate beautiful light in the morning.
Outside the hand crafted antique doors of the property, the large terrace with additional dining space overlooks La Aldea, a village created within the village which was the brainchild of the famous British sculptor, David Marshall, whose gallery is still one of its main features of the small private square directly outside the property.
Fancy a swim before breakfast or would you like to lounge by the water, soaking up the spectacular views for the day? Your holiday property has a beautiful swimming pool shared with just a few other residents. And then, what about a drink before dinner? Check out the sophisticated open air charm of La Bodega on your doorstep.
For your holiday, you have great parking nearby and immediate access to everything Benahavis old town and countryside has to offer so you might rarely use that car. If you do, the area around Benahavís boasts some of the most scenic landscapes to the west of the Costa del Sol.
